MIchael Crawford (left), of Plantation, and Karl Chen (right), of Miami won the men's doubles badminton gold medal in the 50-54 age group.  Chen won the men's singles gold medal while Crawford won the silver.

Richard Donald, of Wesley Chapel, and Walter Kuehn, of Sun City Center, won a silver medal in the Men's Doubles Pickleball 50-54 age group.

The Ken Marshall Sun Harbor Realty All-Stars won the silver medal in the women's softball 60-64 age group.  Team members are:

Paying a visit to the Table Tennis competition, was Fort Myers Fox 4's "On the Road with Wild Bill" Show.  Reporter Bill Wood spent the morning interviewing Florida Senior Games Table Tennis players and generally having a good time.




Larry Wallen, of Jacksonville, set a U.S. Powerlifting Association record for his age group with a deadlift of 720 pounds at the inaugural Powerlifting competition.  Wallen was also named the 2007 Male Athlete of the Year.




Norm Taylor, of Naples (on right), participated in the Grandparent/Grandchild Relay with his grandson, David Taylor, of Fort Myers.




Jim Corbeil, of Winter Haven, won gold medals in the 1500 meter and 5K Race Walk.  Corbeil holds Florida Senior Games and National Senior Games Race Walk records in the 65-69 age group.
