Other Sports License Plate
The Florida Sports Foundation, in partnership with the United States
Olympic Committee, the NASCAR
Foundation, the United States Tennis Association and the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV),
has created additional sports specialty license plates. These tags are
available for purchase at your local tag agency and are for Florida registered
vehicles only.
By
purchasing one of these other sports license plates you are directly supporting the development of sport in the state
of Florida and their charitable organizations.
Olympic Spirit
 The
Florida Sports Foundation distributes the proceeds from the sale of
the Olympic Spirit specialty tag to promote amateur sports. Half
of the proceeds are used by the Florida Sports Foundation to promote
amateur sports in Florida, including the Florida Senior Games State
Championships and Florida's Sunshine State Games. The other half
is distributed directly to the U.S. Olympic Committee to help support
the Olympic Movement and Florida's Olympic athletes.
The annual
specialty license plate fee to proudly display the Olympic Rings is

NASCAR
 The Florida Sports
Foundation will distribute the proceeds from the NASCAR plate to support its
major and regional grant program, the marketing of motor sports related tourism
in the state, NASCAR and to the NASCAR Foundation’s designated charitable
organizations. The Florida Sports Foundation’s major and regional grant
programs are designed to assist communities and host organizations in attracting
sporting events that generate out-of-state economic impact for the state of
Florida.
To purchase a NASCAR specialty
plate, buyers must prove that they have a vehicle registered in the state of
Florida, a valid Florida driver’s license and proof of insurance. The annual
specialty license plate is $25.
The NASCAR plate is available now at your local Department of Motor

Play Tennis
 The
Florida Sports Foundation distributes the proceeds from the sale of
the Play Tennis specialty license plate to support the mission of the
USTA Florida Section Foundation, "to improve the health and qualify of
life of Floridians through tennis." This is achieved by the
programs and the chiritabe purposes of USTA Florida through the USTA
Florida Section Foundation.
